BETWEEN THE CRACKS at the EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL
Aug 2-7, 9-12, 14-19, 21-26
Australia’s favourite feather ruffling, rabble rousing, cabaret anarchist and neo-punk diva, Yana Alana bares all in this bent night of blues, boobs and blame, backed by her supremely skilled all female band The Paranas.
Between The Cracks deals with mental and physical health, sexual politics, feminism and identity. This is cabaret at it’s best, incisive, hilarious, confronting, revealing and most of all, musically divine. Yana Alana is queer as hell, demonically talented and rudely brilliant.
A contemporary theatrical production that shines a spotlight on social issues such as gender equality, religion, global warming, and mental health. It is more than theatre.
This multi award winning show (Helpmann, 2 x Green Rooms and Adelaide Fringe Best Cabaret) comes all the way from Australia to ruffle your feathers at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Running Time: 60 minutes, no interval.
This show is suitable for ages 18+.
